vMSC - Virtual Mobile Switching Center

MSC-S is a Mobile Switching Center. It performs switching functions for mobile communications and controls all incoming and outgoing calls from other telephone and data networks.

There are two types of vMSC - High Capacity and Compact.

vEPC - Virtual Evolved Packet Core

Evolved Packet Core (EPC) - is a combination of network functions which process LTE and 5G traffic. It provides primary network functions necessary for mobile broadband services.

EPC includes two components - SGSN and MME

vNMS - Virtual Network Management System

Network Management System (NMS) - is an OSS platform and a set of applications for managing and supporting Radio, Transport, and Core networks.

vBSC - Virtual Base Station Controller

Virtual Base Station Controller (vBSC) is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and disconnecting packet and voice connections through the base station network.

CEE - Cloud Execution Environment

Cloud Execution Environment (CEE) is a cloud environment consisting of two parts:
- LCM - a lifecycle management system
- Openstack - a KVM-based hypervisorThe system is easily scalable and versatile in terms of hardware selection for deployment.
